This assignment offers 24-hour call coverage in a collaborative, Level II Trauma Center, caring for adult patients requiring complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiothoracic surgery experience, including first assisting in the operating room and endoscopic or open vein harvesting. Assignment Details * Practice Setting: Hospital * Coverage: 24-Hour On-Call * EMR: Epic Responsibilities * First assist in a variety of cardiothoracic surgical procedures. * Perform endoscopic and/or open vein harvesting. * Provide perioperative management of cardiothoracic surgery patients. * Participate in 24-hour call coverage, including overnight phone consultations and emergent operative cases. * Evaluate patients, assist with preoperative and postoperative care, and collaborate closely with the cardiothoracic surgery team. * Maintain timely and accurate documentation in Epic.
