Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Vascular Surgery in South Carolina - Qualifications: (Please note that I will NOT name clear any candidates who do not meet all 4 qualifications below)- ·      Board Certified – Vascular Surgery ·      Licensed – SC Medical, SC Controlled Substance and DEA I will NO LONGER be able to pass a file off for onboarding and credentialing if the candidate does NOT have an active CSR. Please be working on this on the front end with your candidates!  Assignment Details – Looking for Locum Vascular Surgeons willing to see clinic patients, read vascular studies, and operate as necessary We are looking for a candidate to cover one 10 day stretch a month (Friday at 7 am – the following Monday at 7 am) Current practice has 2 perm Vascular Surgeons Outpatient clinic Monday thru Thursday 8-4:30; Friday 8-2:00 Procedures required:  Open and endo AAA (open rare/never, would likely only be emergent hemodynamically unstable rupture patient with no endo option)  TCAR, CEA  Lower extremity angio/angioplasty/stenting, intra-arterial catheter directed lysis  Femoral endarterectomy, lower extremity open bypass (vein, cadaver vein, prosthetic)  Lower/upper extremity thrombectomy  Fistulogram and fistula declot  Central line, tunneled and non-tunneled  DVT mechanical thrombectomy  IVC filter placement  Midlevel support available Monday – Friday 7 am – 3 pm Avg. patients/physician/day: Inpatient: varies Clinic: 10-20 depending on provider Desired Start Date and coverage dates needed: asap; we will add the locums provider to the call schedule following a 1:3 rotation when he/she becomes available EMR: EPIC    Current Open Dates Available: Please note that any NEW LOCUM CANDIDATE will be REQUIRED to come prior to his/her first shift to complete ½ day of onboarding and orientation requirements. This training must be done on a Monday-Friday, and can NOT be done on a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday. So when you send me a name clear, please be sure that you include WHEN the candidate can come for orientation. It is preferred that orientation is done the day before the first shift, but if that falls on a weekend or holiday the candidate must be willing to come down for a ½ day sometime prior to start date. Again, I will need to know the availability for orientation in all name clears now
