This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. They do on-call during the day for all units (Forensic, Civil, and Medium) and it is split between 2-3 psychiatrists on a given day; no night or weekend call. Candidates should be BC or BE. Notes are handwritten or dictated. Credentialing for this assignment takes around 4 weeks or less. The facility is located less than 1.5 hours from St. Louis, Missouri. The schedule will be 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. An Illinois license to practice medicine and an American Board of Medical Specialties Certification, or its equivalent, in Psychiatry is required. Three years of substantive medical administrative experience in directing, planning, and evaluating a medical/clinical program, the ability to supervise and coordinate staff and activities of other professional disciplines, and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with various professional disciplines are required.
