Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Family Practice in Columbia, MO - Specialty: APP - CVT Surgery Location: Central Missouri Reason For Coverage: Short-staffed. Seeking ongoing coverage Dates: ASAP - Ongoing Shift Info:  * Hospital Coverage: Mon - Fri 6:30a-4:30p (10 hours) Sat and Sunday 6:30a-11:30a * Clinic: Some Tuesdays 8a-5p Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days typically but can issue temps Job Details: * Setting: 80% Hospital based. Possibly 1 clinic day  * Patients per day: Inpatient has 1-2 surgeries; if a clinic day 18-20 patients is typical.  * Providers: 2 Physicians and 2 APP’s * Required Procedures:  CVT : General CVT, Coronary bypass, Congenital defects, Valve repair/replace, Aneurysm repair, Lung resection, Chest wall procedures, Espoph and diaphragm, Pacemaker placements, Left Ventricle assist devices.  VASCULAR  procedures needed as well.
