There is usually 1 physician assistant in the office to work with the locum physician; however again this physician assistant does not provide audio services. AVG Admissions While on Call: 3 Patient Mix: 90% Adult | 10% Peds Procedures: routine ENT procedures Typical Cases Seen: Routine ENT patient needs, emergency room and trauma patients with ENT needs. Typical ENT surgical skill and experience Other Specialties Onsite: There are physician assistants and nurses and medical assistants at the office # of Maxillofacial Surgeries per year: 12 – 15. These are comprised of: open reduction internal fixation of facial fractures and mandible. # of surgeries per week: During the 1 week per month that the locum ENT provides coverage, they typically perform an average of 3 surgeries which may be “typical ENT surgeries” which would include: tracheostomy, removal foreign body, cauterization of bleeder, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, turbinectomy, and may include the maxillofacial surgeries above: open reduction internal fixation of facial fractures and mandible.
