Documenting/Charting patient information in line with current policies and procedures. * Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. Communicates with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information. Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate. * Follows established policies, procedures, objectives, and recommended referral practices. Orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviation from normal. Orientation and training of new practitioners when necessary. Supervision of midlevel practitioners when appropriate and abide by all associated rules and regulations. * 60 Day Credentialing

Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Tennessee - Emergency Medicine – MD/DO Facility Location: Southern TN Coverage/Contract Dates: 6/1/2024 – 9/30/2024 Schedule/Work Hours : Needing 24hr physician coverage / 12hr shifts, 7a-7p/7p-7a must be willing to work days and nights. Scope: Bread and Butter ER procedures Certifications: BC/BE, Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine. ABEM & AOBEM, ATLS, ACLS, PALS. Must be vaccinated against Flu & Covid. -         MUST have 2 CURRENT years recent experience working in an Emergency Department, showing a patient census of 10,000 patients annually. Any physician falling under the “grandfather clause” declaring physicians board eligible if they completed 8,000 hours of clinical practice in emergency departments by 1988, will NOT qualify.
