Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Anesthesiology in Virginia - Looking for 2 MDs 8 and 10 hour shifts, Mon-Fri Occasional OT Weekend 12 hour shifts optional Call is optional (beeper call 7pm-7am with 30 minute call-back radius) Responsibilities: Assist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Tennessee - Emergency Medicine – MD/DO Facility Location: Southern TN Coverage/Contract Dates: 6/1/2024 – 9/30/2024 Schedule/Work Hours : Needing 24hr physician coverage / 12hr shifts, 7a-7p/7p-7a must be willing to work days and nights. Scope: Bread and Butter ER procedures Certifications: BC/BE, Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine. ABEM & AOBEM, ATLS, ACLS, PALS. Must be vaccinated against Flu & Covid. -         MUST have 2 CURRENT years recent experience working in an Emergency Department, showing a patient census of 10,000 patients annually. Any physician falling under the “grandfather clause” declaring physicians board eligible if they completed 8,000 hours of clinical practice in emergency departments by 1988, will NOT qualify.
