Nocturnist/Hospitalist Opportunity in Coastal Alabama

A southern Alabama hospital is looking for full-time board-eligible/board-certified internists to join the hospital nocturnist team at the assistant/associate/professor level. They are seeking applicants with an understanding of the medical educational, clinical, and administrative issues for internal medicine residents and 1st through 4th year medical students at a small medical school. Successful applicants will assist with the residency program needs, inpatient general medicine services (both independently and with residents), and quality improvement programs. The nocturnist role will support the overnight admissions process as well as assist with early discharge planning. There are expectations for career advancement through the academic promotions process.
