An exciting geriatric psychiatry opportunity is now available at a mental health facility in New Jersey. This is an inpatient position, and the incoming psychiatrist will be in charge of admissions, initial evaluations, daily rounds, and medication management. You will work Monday through Friday, but the schedule will be flexible. The incoming psychiatrist can expect to see 15 inpatients per day on average. The call schedule is phone back-up only. You will work closely with a large group of other experienced psychiatrists. The facility has an academic affiliation with a local university, so there are opportunities to teach if interested. The facility is accepting board certified or board eligible applicants. This position will require a current NJ license, and CompHealth's licensing team can help you obtain one.
