A hospital in Minnesota is seeking a family practice nurse practitioner who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately eight months starting in March to the end of December 2019 with a possible extension. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see between twelve and fourteen patients of all ages for a variety of cases: Cold and flu symptoms, coughs, sore throats, earaches, infections, sinus and eye, urinary infections, minor cuts, lacerations, burns, skin conditions, poison ivy, insect bites, sprains and strains. Experience with NP-AANC or PA-NPPCA is optional. The locum will work two or three days per week, ideally Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This facility uses Epic EMR.
