Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Clarksville, TN - _ Emergency Medicine Position in North Western Tennessee _ We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our Hospital and Freestanding ED department. With a wide range of clinical cases, this position offers an exciting and challenging environment for growth and professional development. Schedule: * 2 shifts per month minimum contract required. * up to 120 hours per month guaranteed contract hours. * Hospital: 10-hour shifts. * Freestanding: 12 hr shifts. Facility Details: Hospital- * The hospital's ED Department cares for everything from cuts and broken bones to life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks and strokes. * The ED has 37 medical beds, 6 psych beds, and 10 hallway beds. * There is an admission rate of approximately 15%. * The ED has a fast-track program to triage low-acuity patients. * the hospital has an open ICU and no Trauma Designation Freestanding ED - * Clarksville's 1st Freestanding emergency room. * The staff is available to treat patients 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week for urgent and emergency conditions. * 8-bed center. * Physicians will be asked to provide oversight to some of the APCs. * there is an admission rate of approximately 3-5%. * the staffing model requires 24 hrs of MD coverage and 30 hrs of APC coverage.
