Avg. doc sees 1.7 PPH on days and 1.2 PPH on nights.  Midlevel coverage 24/7 on Mon, Wed, Fri; 11a-11p Tues, Thurs Department sees 55 patients per 24 period Rural hospital - no trauma designation - Anesthesia is 30 minutes out Procedures required: Intubation, lac repairs, central lines, chest tubes, fracture reductions, lumbar puncture, splinting, cardioversion, surgical airway (emergent), vaginal delivery (emergent), foreign body removal.  Staffing: Will work with NPs and/or PAs. Not expected to sign their charts. After 10 pm at night the ED Physician will be the only ED Physician on site until 7 am the next morning.
